I have a 97 tj with the 2.5l engine I need to know what gears I have so I can order new ones, how can I tell.
you can count how many times your drive shaft spins for your wheels to make one complete revolution.
Its not necessarily 4.10 factory. Their should be a tag on the axle or a stamp in the tube with a bill of material number for the axle. Let me know if you have any questions.

I do I drive 55-60 a day to college and more in the summer how much of a difference will it make in mpg
MPG is about impossible to predict honestly, just too many factors.
Well I'm a student lol its not really a want but a need to get bigger gears, my jeep had 35's on it when I bought it and it has about broke me just trying to fix things they didn't do right when putting the bigger tires on
