Axle Shaft Leak

Just to be sure I need to replace my axleshaft seal on this side, yes? It is the front driver side on a Dana 30. Leaking slowly onto just this joint.

Jeep has just under 30k miles... Anyone else see this that soon?

Yup, looks like you're needing to change out the seal. Should last longer thank 30k but I've seen them fail sooner too. When was the last time you replaced your unit bearings?

I actually haven't. Got the Jeep 6 Months ago and this is the first issue to come up. It is under warranty and is a 2018.

I bought it used from a dealer with 26,323 miles. Didn't think I'd need to yet honestly. I have with the TJ.

A bent end forging or tube will cause a leak too and that was common on a JK.

aftermarket wheels?
When I switched to the KMC Machete 4" bs wih Cooper STT Pro 13.5, unit bearings fail at about every 30k miles.

Stock Rubicon wheels and BFG KMs. Don't think it's the bearings. Good to know though I'll be aware of that when I get 35s and beadlocks.
