Axle Seals: Dana 44

Hi Guys,

What are you thoughts on front axle tube seals? I'm looking at buy some Alloy USA 11105 Axle Tube Seal for when I guy the chromoly axle shafts. Seems like a good thought??

Pro: they will keep dirt and small debris from entering you axle tube. Water too

Con: if you do get an inner axle seal leak, you'll never know because it will keep the gear oil from running out and alerting you to the leak

It will eventually let the gear oil out it will only keep a small amount of gear oil in. Once the seal is really bad you will still see an oil leak. Just be sure to use the sealant to glue it to the tubes so they stay in the tubes and don't rotate. If anything is a con to me it's the fact the axles will be a lil harder to install with them in.
