I bought a used 13 rubi that had everything I was looking for but I’m not a fan of the Smitty build xrc fenders and corner armor. It’s my understanding that when the fronts are installed they cut out the sheet metal fenders so I will need two new ones. How about the rear? Are the old nutzerts an issue? How hard is it for new corners and fenders to mount up?
Anyone switch from Smitty built xrc fenders/armor to something else?

Pretty sure you won't find a lot of info on these fenders here. But here is their install instructions. https://www.smittybilt.com/docs/installation/76882.pdf On the rear you would have choose what you want to replace it with and research if it would cover all the old mounting holes. Could run into problems of them being to close. On install of new skins is not that hard with right nutsert tool and patients. Fronts https://www.smittybilt.com/docs/installation/76880.pdf looks like replace old modified parts and start fresh. IMO you are on the right path getting rid of these monstrosities

Maybe you could find some local member that has some different corner armor and do comparison to see where the holes line up. Or a local vendor that carries what you may be interested in.
