This fell out of my kids Chevy equinox (2007) when she pulled the e-brake. I'm not handy AND not at a place I can look at it. Any ideas what it is?

Did it fall from the ebrake linksge or from inside the vehicle?

To be honest it looks like a wire shelf bracket. Maybe it was on the road and got flipped up there and just fell out when the lever got engaged

There would be road grim and brake dust on it if it was part of the brake system.:thinking:

If this was actually part of the vehilce it would also have road grime on it. It does look like a wire shelf hanger.

It looks identical to the pieces that hold up adjustable metal shelves. I put a ton of them together at work one day.
