Any experience with the PPE transmission pan?

I'm planning on a transmission fluid & filter change soon, and was wondering if anyone here has used the PPE aluminum pan. The additional capacity, drain plug, and cooling fins look appealing.

Are you really at 100k miles or more? Because, the new automatic transmission is designed to be "serviceless" and you really shouldn't need to change out the fluid for at least that many miles.

No, I'm at 70k. I understand that FCA calls it "serviceless", but ZF does recommend 60-70k changes. I figure it may extend the transmission's life, or worst case, I'm out a bit of cash and a few hours.

There is always some risk when changing the automatic transmission fluid. I understand that some time/effort may be necessary to get all the air out and get enough fluid in.

I have it on my 2018 JLU, plan on loosening up the exhaust to slide it in.

I'm at around 117000 miles and decided to swap it out at 90,000-mile fluid change in hopes of it providing cooler temps, it does not.

The transmission temperature has always seemed high to me but apparently there is a heater that keeps it at that temperature.

I just realized I have not put the factory skids back on since the New Year run and haven't checked if it has signs of hitting anything when at EJS but I'm guessing not, there are no leaks. no transmission issues.

Didn't do as I expected and advertised in regard to cooler temperatures, but I figure the bit of extra fluid it holds makes the fluid life operate like "normal" with the 37's and lots of freeway driving, or maybe it was just another thing I've spent money on and didn't need (sadly, plenty of those things)
