Antirock Sway Bar Link Bolts

Do the end link bolts have to be attached in opposing directions? The bracket on my axle will only allow both to be mounted the same direction like I have it below.

What you have posted looks correct BUT on the passenger side lower link is supposed to be a double sheer mount. As in, the link end should be connected to both the flange tab AND the track bar mount using a bolt and spacers.

I believe I see what you’re saying but the rod ends are all sealed on the back. Like the attached.

That looks correct for the uppers and driver side lower but your passenger side lower should be a double sheer mount like this.

If what you have is all you got, you should be securing it to the flange tab if anything.

Does this apply to JL only? I see the end is different in the JL kit sold by rockjock vs the one sold for JK. To be clear I have a 2014 JK.

Yes, on a JL or JT, you NEED to have it mounted on both the flange tab AND the track bar mount to create a double sheer as the flange tab alone is too thin and will break. On a JK, if you look at the pic you just posted, the stud on the lower part of the passenger side link is facing outward. As in, it gets connected to the flange tab as I just stated above. On a JK, the tab is stronger.

Yes I see what you’re talking about. The problem is, there’s no way to get that rockjock sealed rod end through the flange tab. The track bar bracket is too close. The only useable hole is the one I have it in right now on the track bar bracket, facing inward. That’s why I asked if it can be mounted inward or does it have to be mounted facing outward, which would be into the flange tab.

Looks like you are running an aftermarket weld-on track bar bracket and looks to be Synergys. When installing that weld on bracket, you are supposed to remove that factory sway bar tab and use the hole in their bracket as you have it now. These are the correct joints we will need when installing your new axles with new tabs 👍🏼

I believe the through and through setup is JL/JT only on the front passenger side.
