AEV procal - can't move out of drive

Caught the Bug
Okay so here's my dilemma. Hopefully someone out there can help me shed some light. I have a AEV procal that I'm wanting to restore back to stock because I wanted to use my superchips tuner. I never got the conformation from the unit that it's reset, which should be 3 horn chirps. Okay so I take the procal off and I try to move it out of my driveway. After I place it in drive I can only go to neutral and nothing else. If I turn the Jeep off and let off the brake and I can then place it in park. Anyone have any ideas? Going to try and call AEV tomorrow if I get nowhere.

When I put it in drive I can only shift it into neutral and drive until I turn off the engine.

The instructions say it may take longer to restore, than to do other functions.

Thanks for the guide Clay. I'll play around with it some more when I get home. Maybe since I didn't use the other tuner to change the gear ratio that may have messed something up. Perhaps the TCM wasn't happy after putting it in D.

Think I've somehow messed up the computer. I put the settings back in but when I try to drive the rpms go all over the place and constantly stops. I can't go above 5mph basically. The speedometer needle goes crazy. I'm guessing I have to take it to a dealer and have them flash it back to stock unless anyone else has any experience with this.

Start by programming the 4.88 gear ratio, first. Then program the tires.

Thanks for the advice guys. Hooked up a fancy programmer my brother had and the ratio was set to 16.1 [emoji50] changed it and now is fixed.
