Hi guys,
The other day I was out wheeling and fell into a river wash out, the wash out was about 5 feet deep and I hit it going about 20km/h. The jeeps passenger side front bumper smashed into the far side of the hole holding the jeep up from sliding into the hole. I bend the passenger side bumper up, pushed/ bent my tie rod, bent my lower control arm mount sideway, caved in my shock mount towards the axle, hood is pushed towards the passenger front corner with no actual damage to the hood or snorkel or flat fender, My 50" light bar mount on the driver side top is pushed towards the front of the vehicle, My alignment was out with my toe being at .66 or -.66 which ever makes it point out.

My issues now is:
When you look at the jeep head on from the front, it "LOOKS" like the body is facing right with the chassis facing left, hoping my frame isn't bent.
The main issue I am looking at resolving is the passenger side front tire is 1.5" towards the inner rear wheel well then the drivers side.

I have looked underneath and found no signs of frame damage, any help as to what it could be, or what could have happened would be greatly appreciated.

Specs are:
2012 JKUR Auto
4" lift kit with stock control arms
37x13.50 toyo open country on 17's
Aftermarket 1350 front, rear driveshafts
fenders, bumpers ect.
Stock dana 44 axles trussed

Does your lift kit include some sort of track bar relocation bracket, and did you ever measure it before this? If not, it may be that your axle always was that way. That's what would happen with a 4" lift and no relocation.

Inspect the track bar closely. When you hit, the track bar would try to keep everything in line but probably be forced down and back.

What's weird is the bent tie rod should give you more toe in. I'm afraid you've got several things going on.

Yes it does have a relocation bracket, I never measured is before, but I noticed it because my tire is now rubbing on my frame and lower control arm on a full right turn, also when I flex it hits on the rear inner wheel well, never did this before.

Inspected the track bar and measured it, its straight.

When I hit, I was turning right, so my passenger tire went outwards, or so thats what I think happened
The tie rod bent because it was up against a rock for several minutes because getting released of force when I was towed out.
 
Man that sucks. I was in an accident and the hit was very similar to yours. My front passenger side hit a car on their A-pillar that had pulled in front of me. My hit was hard enough that my frame was bent backwards on that side (diamonded). There are some photos on my build thread that shows how it was bent.

A good indicator of diamonding is the front coil spring not being perpendicular. Does it look like it is shoved back on the bottom? Mine ended up being moved rearward 3 inches. You should also be able to check this by seeing if the front ends of the frame are parallel to reach other using a framing square.

I ended up with a new frame in the deal. It probably could have been straightened but they saw how much I had put into the Jeep so they went ahead and told the insurance company it needed a new frame.

Hi MKJK. Something is defiantly tweaked. Why don't you let your insurance provider fix it for you? I'm assuming your jeep is currently financed, so it's insured right? Trying to fix this yourself will be a very tedious task for sure! Not impossible, but you might always be chasing little annoyances like leaks, squeaks, and odd tire wear. Good luck with it.
 
No financing, but definitely insured. I currently live in BC, jeep is insured in AB.
My insurance company will provide whats needed if its done in AB, thats not an option for about 5-6 months as i am in school full-time.

would a bent lower control arm or bracket cause my tire to be pulled back, causing the passenger side sway bar link to be closer to the spring as well?
 
In the pics it looks like the lower control arm mounts on the axle itself are both bent... could just be pics... but that would create a little bit of a mess... if you hit hard enough to bend them, other mounts here and there could all be tweaked....
 
I believe just the passenger side bracket is twisted, it doesn't look like the arm itself is bent. Is that even possible ?

This couldn't have happened at a worse time, I was just about to pull the trigger on the eve doubled pro.

If mounts are my problem then no worries, I think theres a lot more to it unfortunately.
