A Wave from Tulsa

My wife and I are long time jeep enthusiasts. Lucky for me she loves all things jeep and the fun times you can have with fellow jeepers anywere in the country. Bad for me that she knows jeeps and has a technical understanding of wants and needs. We are blessed to have a a few jeeps including a '88 YJ, a '79 J10, and a '83 J10 stepside. We used to have a '80 CJ but we didn't need four jeeps. The CJ was built to run as a daily driver and extreme trail rig but after building up the wife's YJ, we didnt' need two so it was adopted out to a newparent out of state. The YJ runs on 37's/Prorock D60, 35 spline, elocker front/Tera RCD 60, 35 spline, detroit rear, GM 5.3HO alumimum v8, 4L60e, atlas 4.3. We love beign able to cruise in it as well as hammer it when needed rock crawling or general trail riding. Our more recent project has been reworking the '79 j10 with a 350tbi/700r4/dana 300 w 4:1, gm 14 bolt/D44 front on 37's. It's close to being in for paint and body. The last addition to the household is a '83 J10 stepside that has no rust anywhere! It has just been lifted and is now riding on 35's. It doesn't have a plan yet with limited free time. We are looking at JK's but will have to find room in the time budget and decide what to do with the J trucks. Who knows!

I really like those J10s! Welcome to WAYALIFE!

I lived in Tulsa for a few years when I was a kid. I always remember them closing some of the downtown streets for a festival they had every year. I also remember when they opened the Galleria with the ice skating rink in it. Good times!

Yup, every year is mayfest. no ice rink any more though. Williams Companies now uses that foot print for a new facility.
