Greetings folks! Kansas has been my home since retiring from the USAF in 1979. Bought a new '04 GC back in '03 and finally got it a teensy weensy bit off-road last year in Colorado. Came home and ordered a '14 JKUR last June. I love this Jeep and have Wrangler fever! Our Wrangler has Mopar front differential and evaporative fuel recovery system protection installed for now. When it is a bit warmer and dryer here I'll be installing LoD sliders, Whiteknuckel Offroad pinch seam protectors, EVO JK Slider for the rear diff, Mopar Sway bar disconnect and steering skid plate, and a MORE eng and trans skid plate. Those are in boxes taking up space in my garage for now. There's also a complete CB radio rig awaiting installation. All that to try and convince my wife that she might survive offroading with me. :dont_tell: Perhaps there is a new front bumper and winch in our future as well. Goodness. Does the money bloodletting ever let up?

I've yearned to get down into Canyonlands in Utah and visit remote Colorado passes for decades. We have a busy summer ahead but will be planning a vacation out west as soon as possible. Here's hoping some of you might be on hand when we get out there.

I'm so grateful for the great advice and warm welcome found here in the forums.

best regards........
