A true Denver Metro Wave here

Hellooooo I've been looking forever but didn't find "the one" until a couple weeks ago... I weaseled my way into the world of JK wranglerhood with my 2007 2dr (6 speed) Sahara in red rock crystal pearl. I picked it up used with 124k on the clock. It was a one owner from Colorado also. I got it about 2 weeks ago and just a couple days ago the clutch pedal went to the floor. Of course the extended power train warranty doesn't cover anything having to do with the clutch. $1600. "Welcome back to jeep" she says. A few days and then I'll get her back.

Anyways, wave to me!

Welcome to WAYALIFE! Sucks about your clutch, but at least shes pretty! I love that color. I just got rid of a Commander in that same color.

Welcome to Wayalife!:yup: Bummer about the clutch. On the bright side you're in a great state to have a JK.:thumb:

a few more days and a few more grand

Got a call from the stealership yesterday (when it was supposed to be done) and after getting everything rebuilt and back together there was a leak from the slave cylinder again... so they had to start from the beginning.

This morning they call again and after everything is finished YET again, there is a strange noise coming from the transmission. Will find out in an hour or so if a transmission rebuild is covered by the extended warranty... on the bright side I can only imagine what it would feel like with a new clutch assy, AND transmission

I'll give a quick update... I got the jeep back from the shop with a new transmission, clutch assembly, slave master cylinder, knock sensor... Price tag: $5500 and change.
