So my family and I, having nothing better to do today, decided to make a quick run up an easy trail here on the front range: Hermit Lake Road. The trail is only about nine miles long but tops out at 13,000-ish feet with breathtaking views. Throw in the fact that my family loves exploring roads like this as much as I do and you've got a killer day. Here are a few pics:
Down low and just getting started for the day.
Free money found on the trail. What's not to like?
A little weather on the way up.
Bear Country!
Who said easy was bad?
The obligatory Jeep shot.
Heading back down.
Hope you all had as good a Sunday as I did!
