Now that Cindy and I have had JET Li, our brand new 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited home for a few days, we decided it might be a good idea to take another round of photos and to document what he looked like bone stock. We also took the time to get some shots under the hood while it's still super clean as wells as a few detail shots of this and that. Anyway here's a few you might enjoy seeing.
First up, here are a few shots from up front.
Side shot that we'll most like use for reference after installing a lift.
3/4 shot from the driver side rear.
Shots looking at the rear end of the JL. It's interesting to note that the blemish on the hard top all but disappears in this angle.
3/4 shot from the passenger side rear end.
3/4 shot of the passenger side front.
A couple of head on shots.
A of detail shot showing how flush the wheels are to the Rubicon fenders.
A shot from the rear showing the same thing. A real nice touch compared to the JK.
Time to get a look under the hood
I know there are a lot of folks who aren't happy with the indicator lights on the fenders but they're starting to have a way of growing on me
The new optional LED headlights are a HUGE bonus.
Jeep really got these new hood latches right!
Loving the Rubicon hood and decals.
Mug shot of the JL.
Yet again, a nice Willys easter egg on the windshield.
The side vents on the JL are a nice touch.
Love that "Jeep" was put back on the side of the JL :thumb:
Of course, the JL Wrangler is a Trail Rated Jeep!
Gotta love how the door hinges tell you that you'll need a Torx T-50 to remove them.
We opted for the standard Rubicon wheels but think they look nice. Of course, the 33" BFG AT KO2's are awesome.
Love the Willys easter egg on them.
The LED tail lights do take a little getting used to but they are starting to grow on us as well. The new fuel door is a nice touch too.
