5.3 swap meet

Looking for ideas for a temp exhaust for my recently swapped 5.3 1990 yj, corvette manifolds to clear the motor mounts, so they sit a bit high. So I don’t want to drive without at least some sort of down pipe so I can make it to the exhaust shop. The flanges alone are around 50 bucks, just not sure what to do.

The flanges are cheap through Amazon... I would run to your local parts store so they at least dump right near the transmission for the drive

That would be your safest bet. I did that years ago with my ‘73 Corvette, open headers, no exhaust. AAA put it on a flat-bed, no question. I would’ve driven it, but the exhaust was coming out the headers, right into the floorboards.

Settled then, still need to finish up the engine, installed a sye, saving the 8.8 rear end for last
