4DR Towing

Sorry, I don't have any experience towing something so specific. What is it that you're wanting to know?
 
You have like 4000 or 4500 pound tow capacity. Depending on year of bass boat and trailer it would be close I would guess.
 
look up your Jeep model towing capacity, it varies based on model, 2dr/4dr, soft top/hardtop, engine and I'd recommend trailer brakes if you're going to use it often.

4 lo always got me up the steeper ramps without spinning the tires.
 
The JL definitely does better with 100 more horsepower and 8spd trans than my 3.8 and 4spd trans. I had a little 20ft ski boat a few years back. My truck was in the shop at the time, so we took the jeep. I couldn't get it out of the water and up the ramp without putting the transfer case in low gear. It was miserable.
 
Your tow capacity is 3500 lbs although we all know it can tow more,but I’m guessing your boat probably weighs around 4-4500 lbs with the trailer. Would probably be ”technically “ over the limit but….
