Today I had 4.88 gears installed with new 35" tires, and what a difference compared to the 33" with stock gearing I was running before. Same road home and never had to down shift from 6th to 5th on the same hills, and that's with the bigger tires. The gears are so short now. But on the down side I'm using around 3 litres a 100klms more fuel now ( tried to work it out in miles per gallon for you all, but it's to late in the night, I give up. LOL). The 4.88's bring the 35's back to stock power,there about, isn't that right? (seems like more to me, I love my new found power) but the fuel economy has really increased. Take the good with the bad I guess. Is that what you all with the same have experienced?
