392 swap

Hello Wayalife.

Finally able to do the fun one and swap the 3.6 etorque out of my 2021 JLU Willys and put in a 392 hemi (kit is from Dakota Customs). Here are few pics of current process.

Bought the 392 kit from them but my local shop is doing the install.

Well you literally just had it done so hard to say if you have issues. And since I’m guessing you and the OP are new to the Jeep world you should do some research of Dakota customs and the various businesses they have closed and changed name from fucking customers. I couldn’t care less of the swap is great, they are shot people.

Honestly whats to mess up? Its a factory crate motor/trans/wiring harness and fabbed motor mounts and brackets.

The other company that specializes in the Hemi swaps have their issues also but people dont talk about it online for some reason.

It doesnt matter if I am new to the jeep world, I look at every purchase I make as a business decision and weigh all of my options before pruchasing.

I haven’t taken delivery yet. Had a driveshaft issue last week and it was put back together this morning.

Slowly waiting for my kit from amw4x4 to arrive. Time feels like it’s moving slower than ever now. Can wait to see your build all buttoned back up and running!!
