35 regearing?

Anyone with the new JL for 35s think it’s necessary ? My dealership says no.

I am not sure and wanted to ask the real pros.

If you have 4.1 (Rubi) you shouldn't need to regear. Whatcha got for a rig?

I think you'll be just fine for 35's. May as well give it a shot and try it out.

As others have said, try it out. You can always change the gearing after the fact. The 8spd is an incredible transmission, so it’s worth a shot!

I have 35’s on my Rubicon, i have the automatic. I see no drastic change in power, acceleration or maneuverability.

With 35's, I see no need to regear especially if you have an 8-speed auto.

I have a Sport. I went 35's and lost 8th gear with the 3.45's. I regeared to 4.56 and it is as good or better than stock. I have 7th and 8th gear back and gas mileage is around 22mpg+
