Whenever you watch old WWII movies or newsreels, the Jeep you're most likely to see is a Ford GPW or a Willys MB like this 1942 that Omix-ADA brought out with them to the 2017 SEMA Show. If you haven't seen them already, be sure to check out the others in the Omix-ADA collection.

history question ? When jeep started to build these is this when they started the seven slots? I noticed that these old ones have 9 or more.
