New to Jeep life and looking to spruce up my Jeep. It's my first buy with Jeep. I'm researching on a daily basis to try and get some more info. Also looking for an auto club for off-roading in the Tampa/St.Pete area.

Is your MK 2wd or 4wd? If its 4wd I'd look into a lift and kind of follow the route that wayalife has gone with his BU.

Another good first investment is some recovery gear or some tow hooks if you do not have any.

If you have a hitch you can just buy a D-ring receiver for it. I would get some factory tow hooks to install. As for recovery gear, this thread should be help full.
