Was up on the Deer Valley trail this weekend and my 2014 JKU automatic all of a sudden had no throttle response in 4 lo. Was running fine all weekend long then all of a sudden had nothing. It would go into reverse but as soon as I put it in drive it wouldn't move. Engine ran fine and no dash lights. It was also locked out of manual mode. I was able to shift it into 2wd and get back to camp. We put a scan tool on it and cleared a right front wheel speed sensor code that I had just replaced with a brand new Mopar one a few days prior. Will the wheel speed sensor cause that type of issue?
We had also just been in about 2 feet of water right before the problem happened. Any way that water could cause the system to shut down like that?
I parked it for the night and everything was fine in the morning. Was able to drive out in 4 lo with no issues.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thx.
