I have had it with my drive by wire on my Jeep. I've never had it on a vehicle before, and it is impossible with a manual transmission.
Perhaps it would be better without the 'dead' spot, but i'm not happy with it.
If i have the 3.8L engine, and no electronics not even cruise control, and i have a manual transmission, does anyone know if there is a cable throttle body that is available as an aftermarket kit?
My lack of electronics and an older style engine should provide the best scenario possible for such a change, i just can't stand the drive by wire and i have a seething contempt for the EPA for mandating mileage requirements.
