2000 tj with a 2.5

Hey guys quick question?

I have a 2000 tj with a 2.5 it sits on a 2" budget lift im running 31s right now and its perfectly fine i hit the trails out here in las vegas with plenty of clearance. Im thinking of getting the old school black steel wheels with 33"s bfg mud terrains? any one have any recommendations on why i should run these or why not ? any input is helpful

Hey Mandoglock,

I have a 97 TJ w/ 2.5L and 5 speed, 3"+ lift running 31x10.50 BFG's with 4.10's. I would love to run 33's, my only hold back is gearing, as it is I almost never see 5th gear, and on the freeway I'm usually in 4th and WFO to keep up with traffic ( trying to stay out of the way and maintain momentum for any hills ).

I am also in Vegas and wheel all the time locally, Mt. Charlston, Nelson area etc.
