I would just keep what you have.ive installed the AEV 2" spacer lift on my 2025 jtrx, and everything is fine and dandy. but my question is, could i replace the oem springs and aev spacers with a set of 2"-2.5" lift springs?
i have also added adjustable track bars for front and rear.
This^^If you like the feel of the ride you have now, leave it alone.
If you want to dive down the rabbit hole, spend the money........
Depends on the springs and what shocks you have them paired with. Again, are you unhappy with your current ride and if so, what don’t you like about it? Too firm? Too soft?good input for sure thank you. but does the ride quality get better by having springs without spacers?
i feel as if its to firm, thats why i was considering just removing the spacer and getting new springs. but as for now still have to stock shocks. havent done to much research on them yet.Depends on the springs and what shocks you have them paired with. Before you spend any money on anything, how much air are your running in you’re tires?i feel as if its to firm, thats why i was considering just removing the spacer and getting new springs. but as for now still have to stock shocks. havent done to much research on them yet.
and 2-2.5 is just a starting point. 3-4 is the overall end game...eventually. i thought or i figured the spacers where a good idea to do right out the gate since ive only owned her for about a month.
if you were to do a 2-3" spring and shock what would you suggest?
also i really do appreciate how detailed you are in your build videos. makes for easy learning and put the confidence into doing it at home really easy.

Ride quality is 100% subjective and I personally prefer a firmer ride so I may not be the best person to be asking this question. Me personally, I prefer EVO Plush Ride coils paired up with the EVO spec Kings but having run their Bilstein's, I would do that again too. I ran the EVO plush ride with Bilstein, made for a nice all-around driver but the lift from the coils was more than advertised until I added weight (bumpers, winch, larger spare)Ride quality is 100% subjective and I personally prefer a firmer ride so I may not be the best person to be asking this question. Yea it kinda felt like it did compared to my wife’s 23’JLUdid the stock ride feel too firm before the spacers?
The JT rides firmer than the JL, made to handle the weight of things you might haul.Yea it kinda felt like it did compared to my wife’s 23’JLU
And also this being my first “truck”
So it all might just be the norms I’ll have to get used to.
