Is it common for the oil to smell like gas after 3200 miles? Dealership is saying it's common on the direct injected motor. True or False?

Yes, From my experience with GM direct injected and forced induction engines it is common for the oil to have a bit of a fuel smell.

Thanks I had read that. Just wanted to check. I did forget to mention that it did have a misfire issue at 600 miles that they fixed.
