09 JK HVAC Distribution Housing "Mode Door Cam" Fastener/Washer

I need some help finding the screw and plastic-like washer that connects the "mode door cam" to the passenger side of the HVAC distribution housing. I was replacing the mode control cable & noticed some dirt build-up in the crevices of the mode door cam so I wanted to give it a good cleaning. While installing I dropped the screw/washer into the unknown.

I can find a screw that will work, but some type of special plastic washer is used and I'd like to reinstall with the correct OEM washer. It seems the mode door cam and hardware are pia to the distribution housing and I cannot find the correct fastener/washer.

I've searched many forums and scoured the internet, but have yet to find any information. Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

It appears it is part of the distribution housing and not a separate part. https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem...yJnk9MjAwOSZ0PXJ1Ymljb24mZT0zLThsLXY2LWdhcw==

Your best bet is look for the whole housing on ebay OR find a Pick-A-Part junkyard near you and go hunting.

Personally, it appears the washer just evenly distributes fastening pressure to the white housing. Find a screw that fits the threads, find a fender washer about the same size, and let your OCD eat you alive because you know the right washer is laying down in there somewhere.

That's what I was thinking. Considering this part is hidden, I think the cost of a new dist. housing outweighs the OCD battle. Thanks

ace hardware is my go-to for these parts when I drop them into the unknown.

They have a good assortment of nylon washers in various thickness, and I think they may have the type with the cover to hide the screw (that's what the pic looks like it does?)
