Caught the Bug
My Niner decided the unibody didn’t want to unibody anymore… so I bought my buddy Will’s old XJ that I’d helped him build 13 years ago. Moved the 5.9 seats in including the split bench, made the ZJ seat controls power the XJ rails (this is the first XJ I’ve ever seen in person with a power passenger rail and factory heated seat switches), redid the carpet and headliner, and fixed a bunch of wiring with a Painless harness for all accessory wiring. It got totaled less than a week after I finished doing everything… texter wasn’t paying attention and smacked the front quarter from behind while I was pulled over helping a guy that ran out of gas.
Because its over 20 years old I don’t need the title to register it in CT, and the insurance company can’t force me to produce a title… so through a miracle of a loophole she’s still on the road. Re-resurrected her with parts from a donor XJ and some quality time with a frame straightener. Pics are from when I got it, the first resurrection, the accident damage, and the current state.

There’s a bunch of other random goodies here and there. The drivetrain minus the ignition coil, SYE and a near stock sound exhaust is otherwise stock and will stay that way.
