My 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited x while driving has high rpms and won't shift down when trying to accelerate the speed jeep jerks a lil. Need help finding out what's the problem? Really would appreciate. Thank you.

Hello not sure if this is the right place to post. But would really appreciate the help. My jeep has about 130,000 miles. While driving high rpms that won't shift down, and it jerks when trying to pick up speed. Would appreciate the help on what the problem could be. Thank you Alex.
