What was done to your rig this week?

Yeah I’ve never done them before. I greased it before putting the knuckles back on 🤦‍♂️

What was done to your rig this week?

Finally finished ball joints on the JT. What a pain in the ass without the correct adapters. Even with the right ones, the cups still didn’t really fit the ball joint shoulder properly or the stud was too long to fit. After a really short test drive last night, steering wheel felt much more...

    Free-JT Rubicon OEM Lift

Alright… who else knew but clicked on it anyway to see if he really was giving away a “Free-JT Rubicon”. 🤣 GLWS 🤙🏽

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

Welp, royally messed up the left lower ball joint on install attempt. My fault. Tried to use the generic straight adapters instead of the angled one for the C knuckle. Got the correct adapters, yet another set of ball joints, and the tie rod came in today. Gotta get this thing back on the road.

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

Track bar bushings and steering stabilizer relocation. Still waiting on tie rod.any tips on pressing out the bushing from the synergy track bar? Seems like it’s gonna be a pain in the ass to get the metal outer ring to come out with it.

    Rear Locker Engage on Highway

Was cleaning out the garage and found a z auto bypass. Forgot I ordered one the last time this happened but didn’t install it because of the warranty fix. Light cleared up so far after installing. 🍻

    Oil Leak Location (?)

You’re right. My stomach dropped when I walked back out and saw oil under the belly. But then I remembered the trans and everything above it is still covered in that shit 😂

    Oil Leak Location (?)

Done. Took about 8 hours but a lot of that was cleaning. Not to bad of a project. Couldn’t crank it up yesterday because I needed a new radiator petcock drain and coolant. Swapped in a new one, refilled fluids and got her going again. Gonna leak check over the next week or so and change...

    Oil Leak Location (?)

Just starting tearing mine down and pretty quickly got reminded of these lovely red plastic clips that are about and strong as a dry spaghetti noodle 😩

    Oil Leak Location (?)

Agh that makes more sense. There’s still 2 seal walls between them. I thought it was just one thicker portion. Interesting. Going with Dorman. Thank you 🙏🏽

    Oil Leak Location (?)

What’s your thoughts on this change? Apparently mopar “redesigned” a new one with a divider between the oil and coolant ports. Dorman still uses a single gasket, but is aluminum. What’s the lesser evil here?

    Oil Leak Location (?)

Never thought I’d be happy to see an oil leak but I’m really glad I asked about it here before tearing into shit I didn’t need to. Lol. Thanks guys! Down the oil cooler rabbit hole I go.

    Oil Leak Location (?)

Hey all. So I’m having a bit of trouble trying to find what I think are 2 separate oil leaks. I’m pretty sure one of them is rear main seal. The other one seems to be coming from either the top or back of the transmission. Nearly positive it’s engine oil and not ATF but can’t really see where...

What was done to your rig this week?

Replaced front driver speed sensor. Damn dog was nice enough to move on from chewing up the rear speed sensors but ended up at the front 🤦‍♂️ so far 3 speed sensors and 2 evo brake lines in the rear, now this front driver speed sensor. Also noticed my trans and bell housing covered in oil 😩 note...

VIDEO : CRAZY Jeep Conversion & Useful Mods at SEMA 2024 - DAY 4

Windshield defense seems like it would work well out here. Though I’ve been lucky to not break a windshield yet. Bed buddy is awesome, I’ll probably order one, especially since the wife is vertically challenged 😆 so she would appreciate it. Price point isn’t bad at all. Not sure how that...

    ABS, TCS, Serv4wd head cratcher

Let’s try this again 😆 I spliced the double heat shrunk the last one. Works fine but really short. I’ll keep it as a spare.

Welp… looks like she chose the hard path. Her life is about to get a little shittier and involve more cages or chains.
