At what lift height do I need to consider a control arm drop bracket?

OH ok. It definitely a real thing since I can stick my head out and see the driver's side tire doing the shimmy when I feel it in the steering wheel

At what lift height do I need to consider a control arm drop bracket?

What was the steering pump thing then? Also for pre 21s? (its an Oct 2020 build btw)

At what lift height do I need to consider a control arm drop bracket?

??? the power steering pump? I checked the recall website and my Jeep has had everything taken care of so far...

At what lift height do I need to consider a control arm drop bracket?

Hmm, it has had a shimmy since the install. I assumed it was tires at first as well since I was rolling on older tires. But the new ones mounted/balanced at dealership didn't solve it. I have since replaced the tires with brand new KO2s. (315/75R17 on AEV Pintlers) and while the shimmy has...

At what lift height do I need to consider a control arm drop bracket?

At what lift height do I need to consider a control arm drop bracket? Running a Skyjacker 2.5"/1" leveling lift (all springs and new shocks) I'm getting the occasional mild wobble at 50-55 mph. It's only hit scary level once and it's been on the truck a year now. It gets more prominent any...

    First steering upgrade?

Dang! at that price maybe I can do something a little more. Is a upgraded drag link advisable? Or a high steer? I'm running AEV wheels with 5.2" of backspace so I've got the room for it

    First steering upgrade?

Hey All, I've got a 2.5" Skyjacker lift and 35s on my 21 Gladi sport. I don't think I need a complete steering system replacement but if you were on a budget, what would you do for a mild lift and tire combo?

Jeep gladiator JT 2021 clunk on deceleration near stop

Figure it out? I'd be suspicious of control arms. If they've been removed/replaced/loosened they may not have be torqued back down where they need to be. If you think about it; when braking, the axle is pulling forward on the upper control arms and at the same time pushing backwards on the...

VIDEO : PLAY ALL NIGHT - KC Gravity Pro6 LED Light Bar Installation & Testing

I was worried about that. I ditched the rectangle light bar I had because I couldn't handle the whistling anymore. I may just skip it then. Maybe I'll just mount some titan spots on the bumper instead and put the Era 4s on the cowl for ditch lights

VIDEO : PLAY ALL NIGHT - KC Gravity Pro6 LED Light Bar Installation & Testing

It's been 4 years almost! Can we get a long term review? I'm seriously thinking about them but with the New Titans out, I'm conflicted. I'm in PA so I have to keep them covered constantly so I'm not sure spending the extra dough for amber lights is worth it

    Rear JT lunchbox locker?

You guys are right, sorry if it seems like I'm saying otherwise. My issue is paying the extra $500 to $1000 to have someone install a new carrier and set the gears up. Without re-gearing, I'm having a hard time justifying it... I'd love to run 37s but that would be purely for looks. And 37s...

    Rear JT lunchbox locker?

Personally, I prefer being able to unlock the front on command due to steering. Nothing worse than backing down a steep and slick incline even for a couple feet trying to get the front LSD to unlock. I don't plan on doing anything in the Gladiator that's hard core. No rock crawling or mud...

    Rear JT lunchbox locker?

The plan is to put a selectable in the front (and I'm thinking about not even doing it). I already did the re-gear (4.56) and lockers thing in my XJ. I've no desire to go bigger than 35s and a rear locker on the gladiator. I'd just like something for the occasional snow covered road and the...

    Rear JT lunchbox locker?

I'm wanting to add a lunchbox locker for the rear of the JT. Anyone have a line on a manufacturer? No, I can't afford a full carrier swap out and I've only seen a torqmaster for the front in the JT. (WHY only the front?? grrrrrr) Since these Dana "44s" are different, I thought I'd have seen...

    PSI 35x12.50x17

So its a trade off between how much money I save by better mileage and having to replace tires sooner. So it'll probably even out in the end; I should just take advantage of the softer ride and the better traction.

    PSI 35x12.50x17

Dumb question but how does this affect gas mileage? If we have perfect pressure, doesn't it eat into our mileage? I mean, I KNOW underinflated will eat into it for sure. So is over-inflation by a lb or two actually increase gas mileage? Whats the trade off thats going between tires and mileage?

Wheels with Sting Ray Color Gladiator

I love my AEV Pintlers. All of the above qualifiers plus these are the JK offset so they poke the perfect amount. I too, think the black rim is played out. And although I was intending on the KMC magnum 44s or Methods in Bronze, I realized that every Jeep in my part of PA is rocking the...

    Help identifying a JK bumper?

I'd have to agree. That's a dead ringer. Glad I didn't pay much for it. It'll suffice until I'm ready to drop real money on a beefier bumper. Thanks for the help!
