So yes, the factory tabs should have been cut off on both sides when installing the new weld on bracket.

Looks like you are running an aftermarket weld-on track bar bracket and looks to be Synergys. When installing that weld on bracket, you are supposed to remove that factory sway bar tab and use the hole in their bracket as you have it now. These are the correct joints we will need when...
