    Yes with a fixed fork inside holding the collar in the "connected" position. So the axle shafts are still literally two piece but always connected.

    Check your front axle, 24-25’s from what we have seen, no longer have a FAD. The housing for it on the axle is still there, but there is no actuator.     I thought this at first too BUT, think it’s because of the passenger side mount being part of the FAD so, being a 3-link it makes more sense for sure for strength. The kit also replaces the oem rubber bushing on the axle with a Rockjock joint.
