I actually stepped down to 37ko2’s for commuting and will go to 40’s and beads strictly for weekend wheeling. So noise isn’t near as bad but I did score a premium oem soft top for $250 and that’s another reason I’m interested in speaker upgrades.
I do have the alpine setup with the powered sub,, just looking a little more balls (for a lack of words) than what the overheads and dash do…. I’m m happy with the sub. A Jeep is just hard to get dynamic audio without amps and all that stuff and I’d rather invest in stuff like ram assists...
With such limited space in the JLU and JT for that matter I’m looking to swap out just speakers from the factory amplified alpine system. I’ve been looking at the various bundles offered by Trail Seven and was wondering if any one in the group has tried them out. I don’t want to get into...
I crawled this past weekend with an actual buggy, a tj and a jl,,, both the tj & jl were up at least 4-6 inches and on 40’s,,, my thought was to go high line fenders and 40’s and that to add in longer arms to maybe add a little more articulation
Looking for input from those of you running long arm kits on the JLU.
My current setup is an Evo 3.5” stage ll overlander,, about to go high line flares and 40’s and was considering keeping the same springs but going to long arms (if that’s even possible) in an attempt to keep cog low. Is this...
Well considering this forum is typically the most accurate, this is the only one I usually go to. Additionally most of the time, members here seem to be a bit more inclined to be helpful and not so condescending or dismissive.
Considering no one replied,,, I took it as either no one knows the answer or nobody saw it so I just reposted it. If there’s a previous write up on this issue it doesn’t come up when I search the forums for it.
So I’m getting those weird codes for Abs and vacuum pump ( y’all know the ones I’m talking about) and I wanted to get y’all’s opinion on what to do next.
I recently went to an Eaton elocker and new axle shafts and the lights were on before that. Now I have changed the vacuum line & the vacuum...

I’m in the market for my first set of beadlocks,, and as KMC goes, I am wondering what the difference is between the Grenade crawl the Grenade desert? Is ot nothing more than a different beadlock ring? If anyone knows please advise! Thanks
So that was why the factory locker was changed originally,,, now the plastic plate inside this thing is broken and I don’t want to go back with the same molar junk. I need a viable option to replace the locker. And are the rubicon factory axles 32 spline?
Well for one the cost,,, if I go air route, it’s not just the locker but then an onboard compressor. I do t have 2grand just laying around at the moment. I need to get it back on the road as efficiently and cost effective as possible.
