    Suds of the Day

The same cash money has been in my wallet for years. I find little need to use it. The last bill that I extracted went into a busker's collection basket. As you know, it is illegal to send cash money through the mail, and especially if it may contain dried butt sweat.

    Suds of the Day

They already stopped making pennies. Soon they are sure to stop "printing" money entirely. It will go the way of the AT&T rotary dial phone attached to a copper POTS line. Will this cause inflation to subside at all? I don't think so! Printed money is like the foam which appears at the beach...

ALL in the Name of SAVING the PLANET

I *do* believe in global warming. It should be obvious to anyone with powers of observation and a brain. The glaciers have been receding world-wide for over 100 years and the evidence is readily available. However, we are still finishing up an ice age so it is unclear how much of the change is...

ALL in the Name of SAVING the PLANET

It should be very simple to understand this. China has 10.4 times the population in a similar land area. That means we have 10.4x the resources available per person. China is the proverbial canary in a coal mine. Clearly China believes in global warming or they would not be making such a huge...

ALL in the Name of SAVING the PLANET

1.4 billion people live in China but only 343 million here. Very similar land area. Do the math. When the rivers stop flowing year around, and only flow after rain storms, it causes huge impact to populations which depend on the river flowing all the time.

ALL in the Name of SAVING the PLANET

China has a massively higher population than we do, and the global warming impact to their population is/will-be much greater than here. In my opinion, it is good that China is trying things out over there while the US is still mostly debating what to do.

Time to change to electric cars. They can be powered by nuclear power plants. No, wait, they are shutting those down too!

Random Internet Shit you've come across

To me it makes sense to charge proportionally for the use of roads rather than based on the value of the vehicle. The vehicle registration fees in California are outrageous. I was never a fan of toll roads but paying to use roads makes a lot more sense than paying arbitrary and capricious fees...

Regeared, now front driveshaft spins in 2WD

Most 2024 Rubicons do not have FAD. Instead, the front axle always spins. Is your jeep also lifted? If it is lifted a lot you may need a new front driveshaft.
