    Advice

Personally I wouldn't buy that Jeep at any price. In my opinion the pool of buyers who want a manual transmission is really small and regardless of what you do with it to make it yours, or just buy and enjoy it as it is, this jeep will always be at the bottom-end of pricing.

    JL hardtop options.

Any decent body shop should be able to repair and paint it good as new. There used to be a facility in Tempe that specialized in stretching the hard tops 10" for the JKL conversion, but I'm not sure if they're still around. (Kustom Koachworks was their name) Maybe see where your local RV...

Would cowl mounted floods make good brush lights?

I have the SS over amber spots on the Rigid dual mount. Unless I'm up front the Side Shooters are just too bright for trail runs as they blind everyone outside the jeep around me. They're a bit overkill for a ditch light in my opinion.

    Lux Lighting Junction Box Mounting

I attached it to a panel below the glovebox behind a small panel on my most recent instal and haven't had any issues. My first LUX control box didn't fair well from the heat of the engine bay. Same goes for the LUX lights. They don't do well attached to the frame around the engine area. They...

    Overkill Overland

It's a chore taking all that stuff off and tripping over where it's stored. Might as well leave it on.

    Hello from Phoenix

Thank you. There's a lot to do now in the city, but I also enjoy getting out and seeing what I can find. Buying a JK wasn't an option for me. Even the most simple of parts are hard to get, and if you can get them they're expensive and most mechanics are just laborers without any kind of...

    Hello from Phoenix

Theres a few of these Pigeon Towers still around in the middle-east dating back to the 13th Century. They were used in large farming areas as a source for food and fertilizer. The slope to the towers helps the poop collect in the center of the rooms below. Since farmers can now buy fertilizer...

    Hello from Phoenix

I wasn't sure where to post this up, so I'll just park it here. Since I am in the Middle East a lot, instead of renting a car to get around, I bought a 2023 Nissan Patrol last August. (Wranglers are also popular, but they're about 20% more over here with the cost of shipping and a whopping 15%...

    Show Off Your Guns!

Yup, both are 9mm. I got the XL first. It's so smooth. I'm not experienced enough to feel the performance difference between a $500 and $5000+ gun, but I can see and feel the difference in the machining and build quality. That's what drew me to them. I bought the XC outside Sand Hollow...

    Show Off Your Guns!

I picked up a couple 2011's last year. My neighbor took me to one of those Two-Gun competitions last spring and I had a great time. Didn't do well, but I had fun and learned a lot. That damn spinning star thing really got me. 🤣

    Frame breaks?

Don't take it personally. We all mean well. It's not a defect. I think what we're getting at is most of these cases are directly related to overloading. I don't have a Gladiator, but a brief look at the specs on the Jeep.com site show a payload of 1,000-1,500 lbs depending on what model you...

    FYI for GMRS install

Awesome little radio. Couple suggestions: I swapped out the included mic for the MXMC01 Mic. It has a dial for VOLUME/ON/OFF, which I prefer over the button. RJ45 Waterproof Socket (Amazon <$20) to plug the mic into when being used. I go straight to battery for power. Forgetting to turn it...

    Choosing next set of tires.

I have never chosen a tire based on price or weight. It always seems to come down to availability for me when the time comes.

    2024 JLR

I did. And they offered a one-time redo it, but it would just do the same thing. They had a couple excuses of what could have caused it. One was that dust settles on the windshield and the wipers scratch it up. The other being whatever soap I was using likely had ingredients that degrade the...

    2024 JLR

I'm curious to see how you like this product long-term. In 2020 I had a shop put ExoShield on my new Ram. I was already doing paint correction, ceramic coating, and paint protection, so I figured why not. I immediately didn't like it, but I left it on for a couple weeks to give it a change...

    44/60 or 60/60s

That is exactly what I did. I got a PR44 and enjoyed the hell out of it for a few years. I really miss those days.

Need help with shocks (King 2.5 Adjustable). 2023 Rubicon 2 Door

Agreed with what's said above. I have 2.5" kings on because I had the money to burn and I'm a fan of the company and their accomplishments. Used to have their posters up well before I could afford them. They've been on since 2020 and I have not once bothered with the comp adjusters or spent a...

MOAB EJS 2024 Concept Jeeps - Let Us Know what you Think!

Stellantis dropped 9 videos on Youtube for the EJS concepts. Pretty lame effort in my opinion. Feels like their underground team has taken a nap the last couple years. Not a fan of any of the concepts, but the Low Down is the worst of the bunch for me.

    Is this for a WINCH?

Being told you have warranty from the sales part of the deal, may be a different story when the service part of the house sees signs of being flat towed and alterations to the electrical system. In my experience with dealerships in my area since Chrysler's demise, warranty work is more about...

    Is this for a WINCH?

That’s not awesome news to find out about after the purchase. Rolling with the transfer case in Neutral doesn’t add miles to the odometer.
