    Months Long Part Supply Issue

as funny as that sounds, if the ziptie is just holding the blue clip from coming off... that probably would work haha.

this looks cool as well, thank you - how would one get that made? I like "better than oem" especially seeing as how mopar designs things haha

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

that would be amazing news, meaning I can just put it back together and not worry about the back order for the new line!

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

Here's pics of the broken clip end.... the good side, and the broken side: I did have thoughts that it might just be okay as is? just extra cautious with fuel.

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

very interesting, will look into this more, the dealer was saying you can't do that cause the hose has it "built in" but we also know how much to trust dealers, this makes a little more sense....

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

haha true. for what its worth, the dealers claim that all dealers share the same parts network, and any one dealer is capable of seeing if any dealer in the country has, and they said nobody does and there's over 1,030 back orders for it. (take that for what its worth, but thats what the dealer...

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

yes, I will take a pic when I get home and circle it, but one side of the plastic retainer clip is snapped - the line was not actually removed. I just dont know if it will leak fuel if I left it as is.

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

Spoke with the dealer I ordered the part from again, another extended month backorder... (no end in sight they say) could be a year or more. So I really do need to think about alternative options. (LS Swap being one, I wanted to do that anyway but lost of $) - but I'm all ears if anyone has an...

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

yes I'll take a pic when I get home. in short, its actually my fault because this line didn't need to be taken off to change the oil filter housing, but I started to take it off, broke the plastic clip, and then realized I didn't need to take it off at all. Then I thought that it'd just be a...

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

totally, my understanding is you can't junkyard that part because its a one-time install end on the hose.

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

I'm thinking that something along the lines of that might end up being necessary, cutting it off and doing my own hose, but I really wanted to not hack that up too much since fuel is a fire hazard obviously, but yea I think your direction there might become necessary if nobody can shed some...

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

I had called them before and they clarified that the "ships from supplier" on the site, is shipped from the same supplier as all the mopar dealers, who can't get them, so same issue unfortunately.

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

thanks! I checked their site for it, looks like they don't, unfortunately.

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

I didn't, because m understanding is that the plastic clip end of it is a one time use clip, so once its installed, it cant be removed and put back. (which also sounds kind of odd, but after seeing the issue with the plastic oil filter housing, I wouldn't be terribly shocked)

    Months Long Part Supply Issue

Howdy, I've been having an issue, '16 JK started leaking oil - and I found it to be the plastic oil filter housing/cooler (the worst design in the history of vehicles, having that be plastic, but anyway) - replaced it with an aluminum one, but in the process, broke a retaining clip on the fuel...

Wheels / MO970 - Does anyone have pics?

I'm looking at the Moto Metal MO970 wheels. (for my '07 JKU Rubicon) Doing 35x12.5 - and Ideally I like 17's so that the sidewall is a little bigger, making the tire "look" bigger. I'm not finding these in a 9"w for Jeep until going to 18's which I could probably live with (just absolutely no...
