Today the 41 kicked my ass. I started feeling a driveline wobble pretty good. It turns out the U joints are toast, so I started pulling them out to swap, more like I had to cut the fuckers out and drive the caps out, and sand and sand the surface I did find it’s a Ford Script driveshaft...

so this old 41 has a bad case of the wobbles at any speed. So I decided to swap out the factory bead locks to see if it’s a tire rim issue. I have a brand new set of steels from my other project. What a big difference in handling and ride quality, I also got in some more new old stock parts...

I had to swap in a 1 wire 12v, the other one was not keeping a charge. It will be going back to 6v. NOS 2nd gear came in too, this one actually fits.

Well I worked out of town this week, and finally got a chance to work on the wiring some more. I replaced some shitty fuse block with a factory reproduction block, swapped out the brake switch with one from a Harley. I found the brake switches from Summit are garbage and work half the time...

The flip side is, customer hardly tell the truth when there’s an issue. We get a lot of customer feedback and when I dive into it, more times than not, they are full of shit wanting something for free. It’s pretty wild how insane people are.

I did a little more wiring today, Cleaned up what appears to be an original black out switch. The board is starting to seperate. But it’s back working. I need to order a brake light switch and 12v alternator. Both are shot. I’m pretty confused on this wiring mess. Someone started swapping...
