Man, that happened to mine. I tried everything and the permitex was the best ... lasted about 3 weeks. I even tried ( do not do this or you will release all the tension in your glass) to re solder it. After I exploded the rear glass I bought a new one for a couple hundred bucks and called it a day!

I felt a little vibration for about 3 seconds about a mile prior to the failure. The vibration ceased after that and about a mile later I felt it again. This time it almost instantly became very bad, the Jeep went crazy and I heard a large clang then heard the tire come off ( it passed me)...

Never found the weight. Only found the front of the wheel (face, front flange and front read seat) and about 1/3 to 1/2 of the wheel wide. never found the rest.
