    Hi, I’m Ed

From Google's AI response, I see that MPG is evaluated at 60 MPH, or below. Many of us spend a lot of time driving much faster than that. Maybe a peak of 80 MPH is more typical than 60 MPH: EPA-rated MPG is evaluated using two main laboratory test cycles: city (averaging 21 mph, max 56 mph) and...

    Hi, I’m Ed

The sticker put on the window when the vehicle was being sold should say the expected MPG given the conditions that MPG is evaluated under. For example, 24. Large tires with an improper axel gear ratio can lead to bad mileage. The Wrangler and JT are like bricks so air resistance due to speed...

Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

I skipped voting in the Texas primaries, which is a first for me. I might vote in the primary runoffs. Since I did not vote in the primary already, it is my understanding that I could even vote in the Democrat primary runoffs. All but one Republican candidate effectively advertised that they...

    Question

Check out the LOD Destroyer rock slider. I have these on my 2-door, and my 4' 10" wife describes them as a "game changer". Note that the 2-door and 4-door versions are rather different. I really like the 2-door version. The 4-door version is obviously not as strong.

Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

The election is over, but it seemed that Trump/MAGA was like a religion to these farmers and ranchers. I did not expect them to remove signs. Trump has clearly lost his way. DOGE did layoffs like a business, last hired, first fired. So the fat cats at desk jobs were not impacted but the people...

Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

In Texas, most Republican candidates are running based on how 100% MAGA they are, and how completely they are aligned with, support, and will take orders from Trump. This might not be a wise plan. On our long drives between Texas and Arizona, we would often see homemade signs outside of farm...

Yes, very good news about our capability: "but we have the capability to go far longer than that". Maybe we can make it a 15 year war!

What do people use for a jack?

A trolly jack is just what I need in the back of my 2-door. It can consume that last little bit of free space. 😀
