Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

NOT to the car wash, that’s for sure. It’s still dirty from the run.

My 2012 Gecko JK… rebuilt again!

Jeeps have such sentimental value for a lot of us. My first Jeep was stolen after 10 yrs. I was(and am) very angry because that Jeep took me and my mom on a lot of trips and she paid for quite a few of the aftermarket parts with her casino winnings she would share with me and my siblings. We...

My 2012 Gecko JK… rebuilt again!

What a wonderful story. I decided to keep my Jeep because my mom (passed away 2024) would always ask how it's running whenever she called me. I have a 2014 and will not sell it. I'm open to getting a second vehicle but Blanca will always be in the transportation pool.

Things That Let You Know You're Getting Old

I've been taking my electric blanket with me when I go anywhere. Had it with me in Primm and Barstow.

2026 NEW YEAR KICK OFF RUN

I am in Bishop, CA resting and will return home tomorrow. I will NOT wait 11 years to go on my next WAL run. I had a wonderful time (even though my body is not too happy with me) being out in the desert with my Peeps and Jeeps. Even after two Mojave Desert Carwash specials, I'll still end up...

    PCV??

I second this. I already went through this. There was no visible leak until it finally gave way but the oil filter housing was leaking. I replaced it a year ago and no leaks since. Another thing to do is to looked near the PCV valve down to the side of the the 02 sensor(passenger side towards...

What did Brown Santa show up with today..

I got a few things. Some were a treat to myself and one a replacement as this is the second winch cover that I’ve lost to the wind this year. Hahaha. Jackery 1000 for the fridge, fridge cover for the fridge, new winch cover , I manual swaybar disconnect from marketplace and a UV21R radio for...

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

**LAST UPDATE FOR 2025** I feel a bit embarrassed, but I am going to update those interested about my Jeep fix that didn't fix. I am fortunate as the reason why the CEL came back on was 1. The misfire code must not have been cleared after the new injectors were put in and 2. The new code P0113...

Thank you everyone again for the original help that worked part time. I’ll update again when there is a fix. I’m sure there are others who need assistance with their Jeeps. :)

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

I put in a new spark plug and coil pack when the issue first started. Intake manifold was checked and those gaskets are only 11 months old as they were out in last Nov when the oil filter housing was replaced. Looked at it again last month after putting in new plug and coil pack in #4

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

Compression test was done after PCV valve change didn’t fix the issue and it passed. I’m thinking the code was never cleared also. 500 miles is quite a bit of miles of driving so I was shocked when the light came on. Yeah, I’m not thrilled to ignore the light (the person has a Jeep and does his...
