    Wrangler 392 reliability

I still think overall theJL is a great platform. I know that the electric issues are there, but most don’t experience or in my case self created. They made it more capable stock vs the JK stock. It’s probably more temperamental to mods, because the new computers and coding.

    Wrangler 392 reliability

I’m sure many have read about different causes to the electrical gremlins, but I can share the different test steps the the tech tested in my case 1)aux battery 2)loose connections from aux battery to PDC 3)CAN BUS connectors. Apparently sits close to cabin heater so will bend the pins causing...

    Wrangler 392 reliability

I don’t have a 392, but recently experienced electrical issues on my 2020 JL 3.6. Took the dealer 1 month to find. They brought in advanced techs from HQ that get involved when local tech can’t figure it out. I got an opportunity to spend some 1 on 1 time with those techs and asked what’s their...

WTF - Just to LOOK at a House???

Just like so much that’s changed in stock brokerage, mortgage, car buying and now real estate. Commissions for the middlemen need a downward calibration. Critical Information is now widely and easily available now, which was part of what brokers use to exclusively have to justify the amount of...

WTF - Just to LOOK at a House???

Really stupid for business. I could be wrong, but I thought there was some major ruling against realtors early this year, that eliminated the historical required commission rate of 3%+3% for buying and selling that’s typically paid out of sellers funds. The ruling opened up the option for...

FIRE EXTINGUISHER Mounts for JL & JT

I made a simple metal strip the u can bolt to seat rail mounts. Then mount extinguisher bracket to the mount. I carry the smaller extinguisher for clearance. Have one on each side. Standard size extinguisher fits there on jk because more clearance between seat rail and door.

    Next Generation JL for JAGS

I didn’t escape the trip without a souvenir. Small chip outta sight that grew after we got home. Your point is interesting. Still have the original shield on my 2010 and have done way more trips on dirt with it and small chips. I guess I’m lucky I got this far on the 2020

Synergy vs Rancho coil spring ride

Thank you. From the specs it seems both synergy and Rancho are softer. I plan on a 3/4” upfront spacer, so not concerned about the rake.

Synergy vs Rancho coil spring ride

Thanks Ben, since I’m pairing them with Ohlin, I’d prefer them softer

Synergy vs Rancho coil spring ride

Thanks Eddie, that makes total sense.. are you still running Rancho coils with the ohlins on the 392?

Synergy vs Rancho coil spring ride

Would like some opinions/experience on this from members. And I understand that ride is subjective. Also I have the spring rate data from both brands, but I think actual experience is important. My current build ( Rubicon JLU) has original dynatrac endurosport lift(2”) paired with fox shocks...
