The cams require very little sun to get them fully charged. The only side of your house that it may be a problem is the north, especially in the winter. Otherwise, I have a couple that only get a couple hours of morning or afternoon sun and they're always good to go.
Is hardwiring in a cam an option? If so, there are decent ones you can get. Also, they offer cams with the solar panel built right into them so they just look like they're a cam and nothing else. I have a few of these too and they work well.
