Just as Skil. Yes Chevron (HK) bought the brand from Bosch, but it is made in various nations as well. But when you really strip it all down, My pwrcore20 Skil is comparable to the M18 that I also own. Just saying for what I do, they work and get the job done, for a moderate price tag.

I live in Oklahoma. We may not get the extreme heat as the high desert. But 95 here feels like 105. And we will see 30+ days over 100 with the humidity over 30%. If that is what you are referring to when you say "devil's anus." 😂
