Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

Been working with my graphics guy on the van. Here is what he has come up with and I think this is what im going to go with. The WAL NY Run t-shirt was the inspiration for the style of the graphic.

Things That Let You Know You're Getting Old

I remember my first conversation like that with friends I went to high school with. We all realized what we were talking about and had a great laugh...haha

What was done to your rig this week?

So was the sprinter kit I installed. I opted to save some money amd went with the squadron pros as they were cheaper than the SAE kit.

    Power Tools

No I don't think anyone thinks that. I had an old 18v DeWalt set and the batteries were done. The tools worked fine bit to buy new NiMh batteries or an adapter to take the 20v Li-ion batteries was stupid expensive. That's why I opted to make the switch. Plus there was a good black Friday sale so...

What was done to your rig this week?

They look good. I did a similar install in the van. BD had a whole kit with replacement bucket that fit into the stock opening. They make a huge difference. Did you go with the SAE compliant ones or a different set?

Things That Let You Know You're Getting Old

Thought of another one. Enjoying a hot cup of coffee after dinner no matter the time of year. I grew up with my dad and aunts sitting around the dinner at my grandma's drinking wine and coffee until way late. Never under stood it until now, but really don’t know why it sounds good sometimes...🤪

    Old School Cool

I certainly dont think I'm old....haha. As a kid I often ran with much older kids so I feel like I'm older than I am. Plus growing up how I did i might as well been born pre 1970.

    Old School Cool

According to the birth range (1981) I'm technically a millennial (Gen Y) but definitely identify more with gen X. I mean that was the majority of the group I ran with growing up...haha.

26 gladiator anti rollover tire bracket

I could totally see something like that here in CA if running top less and door less. I mean look at SxS laws here. Granted SxS's are much faster and you should probably wear a helmet regardless of the law.

Things That Let You Know You're Getting Old

Not sure if its old or out of shape but being sore after rolling around on a creeper for a couple hours reinstalling skid plates. Idk if I'd be able to install my lift in the garage like I did nearly 14 years ago. If so it'd probably take me longer than the 3 weeks it originally did...haha.

Pet Peeves - What Pisses You Off?

I had to talk to the parking nazi in Nashville earlier this year to be able to leave the van parked while I went into the airport to help my wife get all our bags, two strollers, two car seats and kids. They were waiting inside because it was 20° outside. Then he got all over me after we loaded...
