    Looking at getting another Jeep

You mentioned wanting to do high speed stuff so, hands down the 392. I'd still pick the 392 regardless and there are a ton of suspension/armor options now for them. I'd be buying a 392 myself right now if I could.

In addition to the broken air line, from what I could guess, looked like the carrier shims were flipped flopped when it was put back in causing it to have insane backlash. The carrier had so much slop before pulling it out.

    74Weld Portal Axles

I already don’t trust their axles, let alone portals!! These guys just don’t quit. Just ONE axle with portals will only run you 21-23k…..

The ARB RD176 is what was needed for the 5.38 gear ratio (for the proper deck height). And yes several spots inside were pretty bad with raised metal/cast from the debris getting shot around.

Awesome! So glad we were able to get him up and running again and hopefully better than before with an “always” working locker. It was also great seeing you guys rip him on the trails in shaver, breaking in the gears the right way 😎 Also, thanks for the opportunity to film and edit the video...

You should have seen all the areas inside we had to take a grinder too, including a spot on the inner pinion race mounting surface. Glad everything looks good.

In The Shop - Disciple Off Road

I think it has been brought up or asked several times regarding the use of cam bolts for caster adjustment or going from a cam bolt back to a standard bolt. Well, this is what it looks like after cam bolts have been installed….You can clearly see why a standard bolt will now not work. This is...

    Got an interesting one… 🤔

It will still turn but may not make the same noise since it’s not under load. So tech it may help confirm that it is one or the other unless the bearing is really bad, it still might chirp. I mean, only one way to find out!

    Got an interesting one… 🤔

New axles shafts will not cause or contribute to debris in the oil unless of course you grenade one. You could very well have a failing pinion bearing, especially since you are seeing consistent debris in the oil.
