I always thought jeep intended it as a dust cover, but that is just a guess. A few people I know trashed theirs because they thought it trapped heat. Logically seems to me that it would keep heat in, but I have never tested it. Coincidentally took mine off my JK for the first time last week...

That’s tough. Feel bad for people that their lives get like that. Binos do look higher end though… When I was like 12, I used to help a family friend clean out his evicted tenant apartments in inner city Syracuse. Was brutal…paid cash though.

Put a couple hundred rounds through it at the range. Very consistent and accurate. Mostly shot at 10 yards. Love how the cylinder blues at the edges…
