    Video: Rubicon Trail Camping trip

Hey Everyone, here is my latest video, I ran the Rubicon Trail over 3 days with a guy I recently met and some of his friends and other new people. Having ran the trail before, and actually every time with people from here, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I got the invite to tag along...

Clayton or Synergy Front Track Bar

I’d agree with the synergy sentiment, I get the feeling the owner (Dave?) wants his stuff beat to hell to prove that is top notch, not just saying it. Def other good brands too tho from my experience. RJ4x4 being one of them

    Coilover springs for towing

I was running 200/200 when I got my jeep. And like 6” of preload, generally light otherwise and it was horrible off road, I probably could be 200/300 when unloaded but I really like the 350 bottom. Idk how changing the upper would impact things, or how the math works out on 200/350 vs 300/300...

    Coilover springs for towing

I’m running 200 over 350 and only bottom out very rarely when I’m fully loaded with gear/roof top tent. So would be similar I’d think. It also performs very well on off road when not fully loaded.

    392s

I love the 392 for a lot of different reasons, but agree it needs a good amount of work to be truly rock worthy/reliable with big tries but doesn’t mean you can’t, and just crusing around on easy trails and road it’s wins every time. I got a good deal on mine, but also saw a new one on the...

Engine Oil Pan replacement on Rubicon 392

Got everything replaced today, pan was a simple swap, gasket is part of the windage tray and dealer said didn’t need to replace unless it came loose when pulling the pan. So I left it along as it was rock solid. Here is a pic of the impact from the inside and well as out JB weld cob job lol...

Engine Oil Pan replacement on Rubicon 392

I’ll absolutely post it up. Looking at the Rusty’s one right now as a balance between quality and price, @Disciple Off Road you have any recommendations that aren’t $1200, like some companies are charging?

Engine Oil Pan replacement on Rubicon 392

Thanks, yea looks pretty accessible, I guess the gasket is integrated into another part but I think it all comes as a unit. Funny part is, on 8/31/21 they switched to the steel pan, my build date was 9/1/21, so my vin showed the steel pan but I actually have an aluminum pan, so must be my motor...
