I have almost all of the music I care about on a USB stick. The audio quality is better. All of my recordings (ripped from CDs) contain ID3 tags with the metadata. The head unit does not seem to know how to use ID3 tags to automatically build a playlist. Perhaps it needs some sort of a playlist...
