Ya thanks for the advise. I have a full shop with 2 lifts in it at my house so pulling the body isn’t as issue. I talked to Hotwire a few times and they said there stuff is good to go. On there website it doesn’t say they have a kit for the 8 speed but they do as long as I get them a computer...

I will not put an LS in my jeep. Hemi only. Nothing against GM just not in a jeep. AMW does them all the time without issue but they won’t sell me the kit to do it myself. I can get the kit from jeep speed but just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with a different kit.

So I sold my 392 a few months ago and now am gonna put a 6.4 hemi and 8 speed into my JK. I really think I’m gonna do it myself. Anyone have any experience with the Hotwire auto harness? Or any other one they have used?

Ya it sucks but it’s alright I’ll get another one someday. I still have the JK which will get a V8 very soon.

After more digging and taking the ARB apart I found the issue. One of the air compressors came apart and sheared a bolt holding it together so it has probably been working only one side for awhile. You can see in the pics that one side still has the bolt holding it together and one doesn’t...

It’s so nice having it in the jeep at all times. I have the twin installed in my work truck, my 392, and my JK and haven’t had a problem with them till now. This one is 10 years old and has been used ALOT, from airing up 40’s 100’s of times to running my ARB lockers so it’s always switched on on...

I didn’t extend the lines or anything. All factory wiring harness only.

Ya it has 2 inline fuses built into the harness.

Ya I always knew it got SUPER hot but it did last 10 years.

So the other day my 10 year old ARB twin compressor stopped working A few minutes later a fire started in the wiring and luckily we got it out before any real damage. So I ordered a new one and got it a few days later. After rewiring it I found where the wiring harness had melted and caught on...

Mine did that and the timing chain jumped teeth all my cam phasers broke and had to have a full top end rebuild. It’s very common. Mine did it with only 48k miles.

I use them in my canyon to get cell service and they work well for texting and calling.
