It's a funny thing but in Ventura, you could almost get 91X down in San Diego about as good as KROQ but yes, he had a fun show.

Actually, in the LA area, he was on KMET 😁 KROQ was more Richard Blade, the Poorman, Jed the Fish and Kevin & Bean.

Back in the 70's and 80's, he did an hour long show at midnight that highlighted all kinds of funny songs and parodies. Things like Weird Al songs come to mind or even Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, Fish Heads or the Homecoming Queen's got a Gun. Things like that.

Although our little valley is known as "the onion capital of the west", it is also a major producer or organically grown broccoli, cauliflower, celery and a wide variety of leafy greens for supermarket Spinach and Spring Mix packs. This of course would include things like Baby and Teen Spinach...

Kinda hard to homeschool your kid(s) when you're barely living paycheck to paycheck even with both parents having to work. Kinda hard to find any amount of money more than you've already paid in taxes to to do it too. And yeah, that was Cindy and I. We worked harder and longer to make it happen...
